Richard Trent Hopkins

Richard Trent Hopkins, 42, of Martinsville, died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  He was born in Eden, North Carolina on October 23, 1978 to Richard Lee Hopkins and Mary Williams George.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children; a brother; several close relatives and friends whom he loved very much.
There will be a floating visitation on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel so friends can stop by to view and sign the register.  The family will not be present.
A private graveside service will be held for his family on Wednesday in the Henry Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
Due to the governor’s requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed when visiting at the chapel.
