He is survived by his companion, Judith Santiago; his daughters, Stephanie Ambros Santiago, Giselie Ambros Santiago and Andrea Ambros Santiago; his parents, Filemon Ambros Malaga and Juana Mil Baxin; brothers and sisters, Flor Ambros Mil, Norberto Ambros Mil and David Ambros Mil.
