David Leon Spencer

David Leon Spencer, 74, of Collinsville, Virginia passed away Monday, May 3, 2021, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born March 14, 1947, in Bassett, Virginia to the late Peter David Spencer and Clemmie Helms Spencer. He was a Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed fishing, camping, playing the guitar, watching old westerns and he loved his cat.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mickey Spencer.

Mr. Spencer is survived by his wife, Shirley Wells Spencer; sons, Barry Wayne Spencer (Rhonda), and Brandon Lee Spencer (Kami); sister, Carolyn Spencer Jackson (Joe); brother, Ronnie Spencer (Jeanette); grandchildren, Troy Spencer and Amber Spencer; and great-grandchildren, Lilliana Hodge, Teagan Sigmon and Thaddeus Sigmon.
