Sherman Peck

Sherman Peck, 81, of Bassett, passed away on May 14, 2021 at Stanleytown Rehab and Health Care. He was born in Richlands, Virginia on May 19,1939 to the late Garrett Peck and the late Naomie Ball Peck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie W. Peck; two stepsons; several brothers and sisters. Sherman was a member of Critz Church of God.
Sherman is survived by daughter, Katherine Cline (Jonathan); sons, James Radford, Lonnie G. Boyd, Sr. and Roger Boyd (Brenda); eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; grandson and caregiver, James Michael Boyd.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where a funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm with Bishop Dwayne Pruitt officiating.  Burial will follow the funeral at Roselawn Burial Park.
