Anne Franklin Weakley

Anne Franklin Weakley, 87, of Second Street Appomattox, died Friday, May 14, 2021.  She was the wife of the late Wilfred Atwill “Fred” Weakley.
Born in Appomattox, May 14, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Edith Jamerson and D. Julian Franklin.  Anne was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Mike Weakley and wife, Sue of Clarksville, VA and Steve Weakley and wife, Dale of Appomattox; one sister, Mildred Jean Dunnam of Spout Spring; three grandchildren, Shane Weakley and wife, Jessica, Brad Weakley and Candace Inge and Ryan Weakley; three great- grandchildren, Chase, Lauren and Ryleigh.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George C. “Shine” Franklin and Lawrence “Ted” Franklin; and one sister, Doris Dalton.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, May 17, 2021 at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Flood officiating.
Mrs. Weakley will be available for viewing from 2 until 4 p.m., Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Robinson Funeral Home. 
The family will receive friends at the residence of Mildred Jean Dunnam.
