Mickey Edward Watkins, 55, of Salem passed away at Lewis Gale Medical Center on May 14, 2021.
A native of West Virginia he was the husband of Cindy Dawn Watkins, who survives, and the son of the late William Ray Watkins and the late Shirley Joyce Harvey Watkins. Mickey was a veteran of the United States Marines and Coast Guard. He worked as an acoustic mechanic for many years.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Brandy Jordan and Brianna Watkins; two grandsons, Camron Quick and Carnell Quick; two great grandsons, John Quick and Xaveon Quick; and best friend, Bruce King.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
