Thomas Calvin Wilson

Thomas Calvin Wilson, 73, of Collinsville, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, at his home. He was born November 16, 1947, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Elliot and Beatrice Yates Wilson. He was a member of Spring Street Baptist Church and employed by Wright Funeral Service. Tom enjoyed music. He had a broadcasted radio program “Redeeming Time” he started in 2002. He enjoyed the mountains, his jack russell terrior and his cat.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Wilson, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Caldwell Wilson; sons, Kenneth Adam Wilson and Jacob Anthony Wilson; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 12:00 noon at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Nick McCorquodale and Reverend Wayne Caldwell officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
