Jeannette Eileen Brittain Simmons, 90, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021.
Survivng are her children, Pamela Simmons Studer and husband Ronald, Laura Darlene Simmons and husband Kendall Parsal and Stephen Gordon Simmons and wife Carol; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the American Red Cross to assist the victims of the building collapse in Surfside, Florida.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 pm at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. The family will receive friends prior at Simpson Funeral Home from 12 noon - 1:00 pm.
