Howard Delano Williams

Howard Delano Williams, 84, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021, at his home. He was born June 30, 1937, in Giles County, to the late Donald Lee and Elizabeth Sue Smith Williams. He had been employed by Tultex for over thirty years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shelva Jean Frazier Williams; sister, Barbara Sue Childress; brother, William “Bill” Williams; and grandson, Willie Dewayne McGuire.

Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter, Debbie McGuire Foster; sons, Darryl Lynn Williams and James Edward Sellers; grandchildren, Ginger Gail McGuire and April Dawn McGuire; great-grandchildren, Shoalin DeLano McGuire, Destiny Angeline Watkins, Jasmine McGuire, Keelan McGuire, and Kaya Roberts; and great-great-grandchildren, Paris Serena Joyce, Willie Dewayne McGuire, II, Mason, and Carson.

The graveside service will be Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 11:00 A. M. at Roselawn Burial Park, with Pastor Terry Dalton officiating.
