Edward Rose

Edward Rose, 80, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Mulberry Creek Rehab. He was born October 2, 1940, in Dillwyn, Virginia, to the late Roy and Ethel Bartee Rose. He had been employed by Martinsville Memorial Hospital. He enjoyed baseball and cartoons and westerns, especially Gunsmoke.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Marie Smith Rose; sisters, Ruth and Blanche Rose; brothers, Gordon, Calvin, Roy, Clarence, Walter, Ray, Garnett, Hazel and Anthony Rose.

Mr. Rose is survived by his sisters, Gertrude Brown, Georgia Jones, Eula Belle Brown, Stella Mouzone and Eunice Brooks.
