John Franklin "Frankie" Wright, Jr.

John Franklin “Frankie” Wright, Jr., 43, of Bassett, Virginia passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born February 19, 1978, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late John Wright, Sr., and Brenda Speakman Wright. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ridgeway. He liked welding, the beach, Redskins, football, baseball, wrestling and his fur babies Whiskers and Pebbles.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Charles Thomas “Tommy” Wright (April); and niece, Alyssa.

The funeral will be Friday, July 30, 2021, at 12 Noon at First Baptist Church of Ridgeway. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
