James Donald Furrow

James Donald Furrow, 91, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022.

He owned Don’s Roofing for over 50 years. He was a sportsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. In his younger years he built race cars from the ground up and drag raced them at the track. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and will always be remember by his kind heart.

He was survived by one daughter, Sherry Faine of Ocala, FL. He was also survived by 5 sisters, Exie, Ann Janet, and Linda from the Roanoke area and Bonnie from Texas. He was also survived by one brother Bill Furrow of Maine. In addition he was survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great -great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at Lotz Funeral Home on Franklin Rd in Roanoke at 1pm on Saturday, August 27th, 2022. Pastor Michael Hoffman will be leading the service.
