Ruby Helen Hicks

Ruby Helen Hicks age 94 of Callaway passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019. Ruby was a hardworking woman who was a loving mother and grandmother. She was born on September 18, 1924 a daughter of the late Lissy and Lewis Stump and was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Lee Hicks; son, Wilfred Lee Hicks, Jr.; brothers, Edgar Stump and Cecil Dewiss; sister, Margie Gibson.
She is survived by her children, David Hicks (Betty), Carl Hicks, Richard Hicks (Pam), Rodger Hicks (Polly), William Hicks (Elaine), Helen Angell, Harold Hicks (Kitty), Shirley Hicks (Billy Powell), Ronnie Hicks (Linda); 23 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Lilly Holland; and sister-in-law, Luttie Stump.

Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Rt. 220 Chapel) 11:00 a.m. Monday with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Monte Vista Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
