Barbara Bilbro "Nana" Lawhorn

Barbara Bilbro Lawhorn 93, of Roanoke (affectionately known as "Nana") went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 29, 2021.  She was preceded by her parents, William and Virginia Falls "Tutu" Bilbro; sister, Louise "Tootie" Jennings, and brother, William Bilbro.
Mrs. Lawhorn was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Roanoke where she participated in many of their Bible study groups.
Surviving are her daughter, Denise Elaine (Jimmy) Williamson; grandchildren, Nicole (Matthew) Cribbins, Joshua (Meagan) Williamson; great grandchildren, Harrison Matthew and Kennedy Nicole Cribbins, and James Dalton (JD) and Joshua Lane Williamson; brother, David (Patty) Bilbro; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family offers a special thank you to the staff at Brandon Oaks Retirement Center and to the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for their many acts of kindness and compassion.

A graveside service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2021 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by Pastor Kevin Wilson.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
