Albert Dwight Morehead

ALBERT DWIGHT MOREHEAD, 59, of Wytheville, VA and formerly of the Kimberling Community in Bland, VA passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021. He was born February 9, 1962 in Bluefield, WV, the son of the late Harold Frances & Alma Lorene French Morehead.

Albert taught you what was important in life. He loved cheeseburgers and French fries. He loved his family, was always happy and put a smile in your heart. He attended Salem United Methodist Church where he loved singing his songs.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Claudette Sarver.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers & sisters-in-law & sister & brothers-in-law, Harold Vincent & Shirley Morehead, Sharon M. & Marshall Wilburn, Thomas Michael & Beverly Morehead, and Garnet Sarver; his special family at Mt. Rogers; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many special friends, too many to list.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Danny Shortridge officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 P.M. until service time, 1:00 P.M.
