Colonel Paul Alexander Law

Colonel Paul Alexander Law, 64, of Virginia Beach, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021. He was born August 20, 1956, in Henry County to the late James and Gertraud Boshenz Law.

He lived a life of integrity, excellence and compassion. A strong line backer for G. W. Carver High School and then into Virginia Tech. He was the bass drummer in The Virginia Tech Regimental Band, (Highty Tighties) and received his commission through the Virginia Tech Air Force ROTC detachment 875. He served in the United States Air Force from 1979-2007 and traveled around the world. He was a devoted son, brother, husband and father. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed golf, swimming, biking and music (playing and listening).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Law.

He is survived by his wife of over twenty years, Norma F. Law; daughter, Valarie; sister, Rebecca L. Collins; and brother, Rudy James Law.

His perfect love will be missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 2:00 P. M. at Blackberry Baptist Church with Reverend Sammy Coldwell officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Blackberry Baptist Church Cemetery.
