LORETTA NUCKOLS

Loretta Kay Nuckols, 65, of Narrow Passage Road, Appomattox, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, on August 11, 1955, she was a daughter of Agustina Russell and Duane Junior Wolfe. She retired from McGuire Veterans Hospital in Salem, Va. Loretta loved to sing karaoke and sailing. She enjoyed travel, adventures, and sharing her opinion with whomever would listen.

She is survived by two children, Valery Jane Ischinger of Harrisonburg, and James Ryan Kelleher of Petersburg; five grandchildren, Athyna, William, Aidan Ischinger, and Kingston and Trenton Kelleher; a “sister”, Janet Gridley of Appomattox; and very dear friends, Etta Rodgers and family and her church family of Warfield, Va.

She was preceded in death by a brother, George Wolfe.
