Everett Wood, Sr.

Everett Kent Wood, Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 10, 2021. A private graveside service will be held on August 22, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers consider a memorial to Trinity Baptist Church at 947 Lyle Street, Bedford, VA, 24523

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Etta Wood; wife, Esther Hall Wood; daughter, Debra Wood; infant daughter, Shirley Wood; son, Everett Wood, Jr.; sister, Nancy Inge and brother, Nathan Wood.

He is survived by his son, Marvin Wood; two granddaughters, Lisa Fusco and Tracy Letzerich; seven great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Robin Clark Wood, several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Jo Anne Bobbitt.
