Logan Jay Naff

- August 9, 2021

Logan Jay Naff, 33, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 9, 2021. He was born in Roanoke and was the son of Joan Hoer Naff and the late Jay Gary Naff. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel and J. Berlin Naff and Lillian and Joseph M. Hoer Sr.; his uncle, Joe Hoer Jr.; and his aunt, Janie Hoer.

Logan graduated from Ooltewah High School and attended University of Tennessee--Chattanooga. He worked for Sprinklermatic where he was an “up-and-coming” designer. His knowledge and integrity will be missed by the co-workers he impacted both in his office and in the field. His good-natured spirit extended beyond his work-family to his friends and colleagues in the gaming world. Far more than video gamers, these relationships grieve the loss of a friend—a life that impacted theirs.

In addition to his mother, Joan Hoer Naff, he will be missed and remembered by his twin daughters, Bailee Grace Naff and Kinlee Faith Naff; brothers, Shane Shephard and Kyle Naff (Kimberly West); aunts and uncles, Dotty Hopkins (Richard Patterson), Dana Wimmer (Terry), Paula Hoer, John Hoer, Jim (Stephanie) Hoer, Jerry (Barbara) Hoer, Jeff (Beth) Hoer, Janet (Terence) Terenzi, Jean (Jerry) Tyree; niece, Adelynn Naff; as well as numerous other loving family members.

Logan had a grateful heart. Having overcome several struggles, he learned the strength and support that comes with the unconditional love of his mother. He enjoyed the fun of charter fishing and hockey games with his brothers. He loved his daughters! He treasured the time and memories he made with them—from solving Escape Rooms to sharing in their celebration of Life in Jesus Christ. Logan always held his girls close to his heart.

He will be missed by all.
