Bobbie Scott Johnston

Bobbie Scott Johnston, 86, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 15, 2021. She was preceded by her husband, Shuler "Jim" Johnston; daughter, Bonnie Smith; parents, Henry and Allie Hall; and sisters, Melva Carr, Ruby Adams, and Lois Gill.

Bobbie retired after more than 40 years of service with Grand Home Furnishings. She was a member of Roanoke Valley Baptist Temple.

Surviving are her son, Mark Scott; son-in-law, Roger Smith; grandchildren, Dee (Mickey) Humphries, Sharlea Blair, Joedi (Stephen) Denison, Scotty Smith, Deano (Jennifer) Smith, and Kelley Scott; great grandchildren, Lilly, Phoenix, Shyanne, Levi, Autumn, Ethan, and Maxton; best friend, Shirley Wilkinson; numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Rudy.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Roanoke Valley Baptist Temple 2611 10th Street Roanoke, VA 24012

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time at Simpson Funeral Home.
