Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Robertson Via

REBECCA LYNN (“BECKY”) ROBERTSON VIA, 60, a lifelong resident of Bland, VA, passed away at her home on Monday, August 16, 2021.  Becky was born in Bluefield, WV on April 8, 1961.
She will be remembered by her friends and family as being outspoken, blunt, strong-willed, bold, sarcastic and funny. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, snacking, watching SVU, listening to 80s music and giving unsolicited beauty advice. She was a cosmetologist and a hard worker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett (“Bus”) & Elnora Robertson, her husband, George Thomas Via, her brothers, Emmett, Jr. and “Jimmy” Robertson and her sister-in-law, Pearl.
Left to cherish her memory are her living parents, Henry & Libby Conley; her “favorite son,” Gavin Blankenship; her daughters & son-in-law, Elizabeth Blankenship & Michael Jackson; Jenna & Jonathan Neal, Jessica Via and India Robertson; her grandchildren, Hayden Ferrell, Chase Cregger and Jay Neal; her brother & sister-in-law, Robert & Wanda Robertson; her sisters & brothers-in law, Ruth Robertson, Ila & Kevin Willis and son, Bradley Willis, and Sharon & Kevin May; special friends, Kathy (“Tootie”) Agee and Debbie Yates; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, too many to list.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at the Hollybrook Church of Christ with Josh May officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 6:00 P.M. until service time, 7:00 P.M.
Per her wishes, Becky will be cremated after the services take place.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Becky’s honor directly to A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, 2508 Walkers Creek Valley Rd., Pearisburg, VA 24134 to help with funeral expenses.
