Laura "Ruth" Lemon Shelor

Laura “Ruth” Lemon Shelor of Salem went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 25, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Headley and Lelia Lemon, her husband of 34 years John D Shelor, along with her five sisters and three brothers.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Glenn D. Shelor; daughter, Sherry S. Green and husband Frank; grandchildren, Christopher G. Shelor (Amanda), Joshua B. Shelor (Reneé), Bailee D. Green and her fiancé Kooper Jodoin, Aimee M. Green and Aleisa R. Green; great grandchildren, Dannie Green, Blake, Camden, Grayson, Tatum, Haddie, and Maverick Shelor; sister in law, Hazel Lemon; and several nieces and nephews.

Heartfelt appreciation is expressed to The Health Center Richfield Willow Cottage staff for their devoted care of mom.

A memorial service will be held at Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Salem on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:00 am with Rev. Gary Kingery officiating.

The family asks that those attending the service adhere to COVID guidelines and wear a mask and adhere to social distancing.
