Elva Turner Haskins

Elva Turner Haskins, 81, of Ridgeway, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 Franklin Health & Rehab in Rocky Mount.  She was born on July 16, 1940, the daughter of the late Robert Turner and the late Iris Purdy Turner.   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Stout; several brothers and sisters.
Elva is survived by a son, James Haskins (Debra) of Ridgeway; granddaughters, Lora Haskins and Jennifer Stout; grandsons, Jason Stout and Josh Stout; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Turner (Renae) of Martinsville, Lloyd Turner of Ridgeway and Joseph Turner (Debbie) of Elizabethtown, KY; sister, Mabel McBride of Fieldale; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a graveside service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 12:00 PM in Roselwan Burial Park in Martinsville with Phillip Wood officiating.
Due to the governor’s requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing is to be observed.
