Geneva Pearl Mays Dickinson Thomason

Geneva Pearl Mays Dickinson Thomason, 95, of Thaxton, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021. She was predeceased by her husbands, Warren Dickenson and Melvin O. Thomason; parents, Otis W. and Ethel Lantz Mays; brothers, Linwood E. Mays and Everette W. Mays; sister, Chlonie Mays Gordon. She was a faithful member of Faith Life Baptist Church for many years. Pearl loved her Lord, her family, flowers, birds, and butterflies.
Surviving family includes her loving and devoted sons, Barry L. Mays and wife, Virginia, and Danny M. Dickenson and wife, Joyce; brothers, Dennis, Sherman, and Delbert Mays; sisters, Vennice K. Wright and Shirley N. Mays; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; step-grandchildren, Angie McCoy and Algie McCoy; step-great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Mark, and Kayle.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
