Myrtle Sigmon Whitlow, 89, of Collinsville, died Monday, September 6, 2021 at the Caratoke Health & Rehab. She was born in Bassett, Virginia on May 18, 1932 to the late Jake Sigmon and the late Mildred Spencer Sigmon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry O. Whitlow, Jr. and a brother Phillip Sigmon.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Whitlow (Deborah); grandchildren, Michael Hazelwood, Kimberly Reynolds, Joseph Whitlow (Julianna), Jacob Hazelwood and Joshua Whitlow; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Mount Hermon Church of the Brethren Cemetery. There will not be a visitation.
