Sharon Howell Cox

Sharon Howell Cox, 64 of Huddleston, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at her residence. She was born on Friday, September 21, 1956 in Bedford County, a daughter of Gary Lee Howell of Huddleston who survives and the late Helen St.Clair Howell. She was also preceded in death by her son, Corey Dale Cox.

She was Office Manager at Dish Network

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Danny Dale Cox; her son, Gary Thomas Cox; her sister, Sylvia Smith (Phillip); her Brother, Gary Michael Howell; her daughter-in-law, Vanessa Cox as well as several nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston and a funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the chapel with Rev. Jackie Carver officiating. Interment will follow in Cox Family Cemetery, Gretna, VA
