Robert Lloyd Nunn

ROBERT LLOYD NUNN, 84, of Bland, VA, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born September 17, 1937 in Bland, VA, the son of the late Roney Lee & Sallie Mae Nunn.
Lloyd was a machine operator for the Lynchburg Foundry for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved to mow. He enjoyed playing his harmonica and especially loved his special cat companion, “Abby.”
Besides his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his twin brother, Roy Nunn, brothers, James and Ralph Nunn and his sisters, Aileen Woolwine, Mary Shelton and Janie Mitchell.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years, Mattie Sue Walker Nunn; his daughters & son-in-law, Connie Nunn and Karen & Ronald Hall; his grandchildren, Bella Nunn and Sheena Shrader; 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorine Gibson; several nieces and nephews and his special cat companion, “Abby.”
Funeral services are planned for Friday, September 24, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home form 12:00 P.M. until service time, 2:00 P.M.
