Katherine Marie Mooney Gravely

Katherine Marie Mooney Gravely, 56, Of Martinsville, VA, passed away Friday, September 24th, 2021, at Sovah Hospital Martinsville. Mrs. Gravely was born in Harlem, NY, to the late John H Mooney Sr. and Betty Lay Mooney.

Mrs. Gravely was a graduate of Coeburn High School in Coeburn VA. She attended Shiloh Way of the Cross, and she loved traveling, cooking, and working.

She is survived by her husband Swannie Gravely; sisters Janet Walton, and Rachel Mooney; brothers John H Mooney Jr., Frank H Mooney, Joseph Mooney, and Samuel Mooney.

Visitation will be from 12:00pm until 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 30th, 2021 at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, with the funeral to follow at 1:00 P. M. Pastor Kenneth Lucas will officiate. Burial will be at Roselawn Burial Park, Martinsville, VA.
