Carter Bross

Carter Bross, 83, of Stuart, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Sovah Health-Martinsville.  He was born in Newark, NJ on September 23, 1938 to the late Edgar John Bross and the late Gwendolyn Carter Bross.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mona Bross Hylton.
Carter is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Vera Rorrer Bross; son, Arthur Bross of Stuart; daughter & son-in-law, Judy & Dean Lawson; granddaughter, Allyson Lawson; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM New Hope Church of the Brethren in Stuart, where a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Pastor Rick Randall officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairystone Baptist Church Cemetery in Stuart.
Due to the governor’s requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing is to be observed when visiting at the church.
