Christopher Stuart Fazler

Christopher Stuart Fazler, 44, of Roanoke, VA, formerly from the Mooresville, NC and Mineola, NY areas. Passed away from complications of congestive heart failure on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in Roanoke, VA. He was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1977, to Ronald W. Fazler and the late Katherine J. Fazler in Salisbury, NC. Chris was a 96’ graduate of William Bryd High School. After his graduation from high school, he sought a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater and graduated from Roanoke College in 2000. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Willavene Jones; paternal grandparents, William and Bertha Fazler; and a cousin, Dylan Spriggs.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Antonia Fazler; sons, Donald and Sebastian Fazler; brother, Kenneth Fazler; brothers in-law, Samuel Fischer, Michael Fischer, Albert Durham, and Paul Samaritano; sisters in-law, Suzanne Fazler, Christine Fischer, Felicita Fischer, Maria Durham; nieces and nephews, Haley-Ann Fazler, Lauren Fischer, Christopher Fischer, Diane Vega, Anthony Quinones, Samantha Fischer, Michael Fischer Jr., Matthew Durham, and William Durham; and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in the Atrium Chapel at Roanoke College, with Rev. Christopher M. Bowen officiating.

The family wishes to extend their most sincere gratitude to the kind and compassionate care of the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital medical staff, and the entire faculty, staff, and student body of Roanoke College for the care and concern shown to them through this difficult time.
