Martin Cleveland Wright

MARTIN CLEVELAND WRIGHT, 53, of Bland, VA, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Greensboro, NC. He was born November 8, 1967 in Pearisburg, VA, the son of the late Arthur Cleveland & Ilene Ruth Compton Wright.
Martin took care of everyone in their time of need. He opened his home to his nieces and nephews and family and friends. He was a lineman, which he enjoyed immensely.  He was an avid NASCAR fan, especially of Mark Martin.
Besides his parents, Martin was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Wright, his sister, Pamela Sue Wilburn and two nephews, Ernie Young, Jr. and James Grover Wright.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Stephany Wright and Heather Wright, which was very special to him; his sister, Sheila Lambert; his nieces and nephews, Jessica Wilburn, Courtney Lambert, Tiffany Vanhoozer and Whitney Grubb; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabella Spade, Kaden Spade and Bryson Vanhoozer; and many special friends and extended family, too many to list.
Per his wishes, Martin will be cremated. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate.
