Joseph Anthony Miller

Joseph Anthony Miller, 69, of Vinton, was taken home to his Father in Heaven on Saturday, October 16, 2021. He was a lifetime resident of the greater Roanoke area. He will be dearly missed.
Joseph (Anthony) is survived by his wife of 38 years, Valerie Robinson Miller; his daughters, Anna Furlong and Olivia Miller (Kevin Compter); and 3 grandchildren, Dorian, Cassian, and Solveig (Solvi); and sister, Nancy E. Hostetter.
He preceded in death by his parents, Joseph McBride Miller and Basil Annalee Clark Miller;  sister, Virginia Ann Claytor; and brother, Dennis McBride Miller.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA with T.G. Ayers officiating. Visitation will proceed, starting at 1 PM. A Committal Service will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.  A livestream of the Memorial service will also be available on the Simpson Funeral Home website: www.simpsonfuneral.com
