Larry Allen Perdue, Jr.

August 11, 1983 - October 20, 2021

Larry Allen Perdue Jr., 38, of Roanoke, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

He was born on August 11, 1983, in Roanoke, to Teresa Perdue (Wilhelm) and Larry Perdue Sr. He grew up in Roanoke playing baseball and basketball with his family and friends. He loved fishing, making people laugh, and his family. He married Heather Perdue, his childhood sweetheart, on July 16, 2016. Together they had two beautiful children, Mason and Kylie.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents; all of his grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He leaves behind and will be missed by his wife, Heather Perdue; children, Mason Perdue and Kylie Perdue; siblings, Bill Guthrie (Lindsay), Tonya Jones, and Travis Perdue (Amber); father figure, Vincente Reyes (significant other of Teresa Perdue); aunts and uncles, Janice Bradley (Ira), Bonnie Boitnott (Jerry), Jeff Perdue, and Randy Perdue; nieces and nephews, Tyler Guthrie, Taylor Guthrie, Katie Guthrie, Matthew Guthrie, Bryson Perdue, and Lydia Perdue; and many other cousins, great-nieces, extended family members, and friends.

A period of visitation will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel located at 305 Roanoke Boulevard in Salem. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the same location with Rev. Roy Kanode officiating.
