Jennifer Jones Burke, 74 of Salem went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 24, 2021. She was preceded by her mother Effie Parnell.
Mrs. Burke taught in a number of School Systems in the area, retiring from Roanoke County Public Schools. She was a member of Fellowship Community Church.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, A.C. Burke; daughter, Heather Burke; son, Brian (Cari) Burke; grandson, Xavier Burke; and four grand puppies.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
