Pastor Geraldine Thompson

Pastor Geraldine Fullard Thompson, 71, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She was born November 3, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Jake and Gifty Parker Fullard. She was a graduate of Forest Park High School, Southern Illinois University and Saybrook University.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Millard Thompson, Jr.; and brothers, James L. Fullard and Jake Fullard, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Millard Thompson; daughters, Nichole Williams (Tommie), Andreais Mooney (Jeremy), Giftie Thompson, Dionne Thompson-Golden (James) and Myilette A. Thompson-Moore (Isiah); sons, Karsten Thompson and Jake Thompson; brother, John Fullard (Shirley); seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 11:00 A. M. at Greater Love Ministries with Bishop Avery Preston officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. A floating visitation will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Greater Love Ministries.
