Brenda Martin Pendleton

Brenda Martin Pendleton, 69, of Martinsville, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Henry County on August 9, 1952 to the late John Calvin Martin and the late Rose Hopkins Martin.  She was also preceded in death by a beloved sister, Judy Davis and a precious nephew, John Allen Martin. 
She is survived by her beloved husband, Jerry (Jay) Pendleton; her loving children, Stacie Shough (Mike), Rewa Barbour (Jim); Ret. Staff Sgt, Talmadge Martin; her most beloved grandchildren, Tanner, Journie, McKensie and Karis; great grandchildren who were the smiles of her life, Aynslee, Bohannon and Bjorn; brothers, Jimmy Martin and Lloyd Barker.
At the request of Brenda and her family, it is requested that everyone dress very casual.
The family will receive friends in the Bassett Funeral Service chapel Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1:00 PM– 2:00 PM where a memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Eric Keiselbach officiating. 
Due to the governor’s requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing is to be observed when visiting at the funeral home.
