Richard "Rick" Edward Adams

Richard “Rick” Edward Adams, 66, of Martinsville passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at SOVAH of Martinsville. He was born in Patrick Springs, Virginia to the late Hozy Adams and the Bertha Hopkins Adams.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Eldean Adams.

Rick attended Better Life Ministries. He worked with Mills Paving since 1982, a loyal and dedicated employee for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and loved animals; Rick would stop to move turtles to the side of the road. He never met a stranger and would always say something to make you laugh.

Richard “Rick” is survived by his wife, Robin Corns Adams; sister, Trish Hatcher and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 2 P.M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Paul Hooker officiating. Burial will follow at the County Line Church of God of Prophecy cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
