Donna Sue Acuna-Rivera

Donna Sue Pinnix Acuna- Rivera, 64, of Martinsville, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at SOVAH of Martinsville. She was born August 19, 1957, in Reidsville, North Carolina to the late Nathan Aniel Pinnix and Mae Eames Woodruff.

Donna attended the Seven Day Adventist Church. She had an Associate’s degree in science, enjoyed drawing, cats, talking about current events, dancing, singing, listening to music, reading and coloring.

In addition to her mother, Donna is survived by her daughter, Melissa Hopkins, sons, G.B. Hopkins (Jeannie), and Robbie Barrett (Lou); sisters, Sylvia Pinnix, and Rebecca Anderson; brother, Nathan Pinnix (Carrie); grandchildren, Alyssa, Savannah, SiCi, Salem, Nathan, George, Andrew, James, Aerionna, Dominic, and Alice; and great grandchildren, Riley, Atlas, and Georgia.

Services will be private.
