Porfiria Pena De Caro

Porfiria Pena De Caro, 76, of Axton, Virginia passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born February 16, 1945, in Jalisco, Mexico to the late Porfirio Pena and Virginia Nunez Pena.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Caro.

Porfiria attended St Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing hats, and going to the beach, being on the farm with the animals, and spending time with her family and friends.

Porfiria is survived by her daughters, Gloria Caro and Estela Caro; sons, Jose Caro, Rafael Caro and Ramon Caro; several grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 4:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date in Mexico.
