David Gustovis Frett, Jr.

David Gustovis Frett, Jr., 74, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, David G. Frett, Sr. & Doris Beamer Frett; granddaughter, Gretchen Wehrendt.
David loved fishing, hunting, reading on his kindle, watching & reading westerns. He enjoyed volunteering at the Agape Center in Moneta.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Frett; children, David Gustovis Frett, III (Lindsey); Wendy Wehrendt (Jeff); Kimberly Toth; Kriste Chase (Chris); grandchildren, David Gustovis Frett, IV., Jacob Frett, Thomas Frett, Luke Frett, Alexander Wehrendt, Andrew Wehrendt, James Spina, Gabriel Spina, Noah Chase & Annabelle Chase; sister, Barbara Ferrell.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Agape Center, 1159 Promised Land Road, Moneta, VA 24121. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Vernon DeLong & Pastor Bill Owsley officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 at the church. Arrangements by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
