Wayne Lee Kendall

Wayne Lee Kendall, 74, of Ridgeway, passed away at his home with family on Sunday, January 2, 2022. He was born on October 18, 1947 to the late Murry and Francis Kendall of Axton Virginia. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Kendall.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Glena; their two children, Derrick Kendall (Heidi) of Chesterfield, and Kimberly Briggs of Roanoke, Virginia; three grandsons, Joshua Manning of Denver Colorado, Gavin Kendall of Radford, and Mason Kendall of Chesterfield.
Wayne was a member of Highland Baptist Church.  He graduated from Drewry Mason High School in 1966 and attended Lees-McRae College. Wayne served in the Virginia National Guard and later retired from both DuPont of Martinsville and Filtrona of Greensboro. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing softball, hunting, driving his Corvette(s) and trips to the Beach with his family.
In order to honor his wishes, there will be no services.
