Lonnie Ray Prunty

Lonnie Ray Prunty, 66, of Martinsville, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Mulberry Creek Manor in Martinsville. He was born January 9, 1955 in Franklin County to the late Clara Elizabeth Prunty Reed.

He graduated from Franklin County High School in 1973, and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing the guitar, and hanging out and talking at the Figsboro General Store.

Lonnie is survived by his brother, Nathan Reid; and his aunt, Mattie Prunty Holland.

A floating visitation will be Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. The funeral will be Monday, January 10, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service.
