Wilma Deane McMullen

Wilma Deane McMullen, 85, of Concord, died January 4, 2022. She was the wife of the late Arnold Roy McMullen, Sr.

Born in Doddridge County, WV, on December 9, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Blanche Swiger and Charles Russell Morgan. Wilma was a devout Christian and a member of Journey Ministries. She enjoyed volunteering for Gleaning for the World.

She is survived by four children, Arnold (Mac) McMullen of Lusby, MD, Donna Edwards and husband, Dennis of Beaverdam, Cynthia Tether of Concord and Barbara Wagner and husband, Bruce of Concord; one sister, Maxine Mathews and husband, Albert of OH; and her “other son” Dan Breedlove of Lusby, MD; three grandchildren, Melissa Alger and husband, Michael, Gina Leake and husband, Matt, and Alexandria Megan Tether; and five great-grandchildren, Lauren, Cooper, Kayden, Katie and Chase.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Heather Edwards, and Timothy Alger.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
