Dr. Richard Edward Frankfurt PhD, 72, of Salem passed away on January 5, 2022.
He was born and raised in Boston, MA. Dr. Frankfurt was a graduate of the University of Virginia. He was a professor at many colleges during his career. Dr. Frankfurt was the husband of 26 years to Janet Frankfurt, who survives. He is also survived by two step sons, Eric Patrick Body and Blake Alexander Allison. He loved nature and especially enjoyed walking the trails on the parkway.
No funeral services will be held at this time.
