Amanda Dawn Murphy 32, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 3, 2022. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Edna Wilson and Katherine Murphy; and an aunt, Betty Reid.
Amanda was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School.
Surviving are her mother, Joyce Brock (Ronnie Aldridge); father, Lewis Murphy (Diana Murphy); sisters, Stephane Murphy (Darrell Clary), Heather Bonds, Kim Murphy, Ashley Murphy, Emily Murphy; brothers, Travis Brock and Matthew Murphy; fiance", Corey Preston and his son, Trequan Preston; niece/daughter, Miranda Montgomery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
