Billie Thomas Ellis, 94 of Bedford, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at Heartland of Lynchburg. He was born on Wednesday, May 18, 1927 in Bedford County, a son of the late Thomas Ellis and Mabel Tanner Ellis .
He was retired from Frank Chervan and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Mae Ruff Ellis and his daughter, Rhonda Gayle Epps.
A private family graveside will be held at Virginia Memorial Park with Rev. Ross Gilfillen officiating and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
