Betty Jane Helm Scott, 96, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. She was born in Roanoke and was the daughter of the late John Samuel Helm and the late Mary Ella Taylor Helm. She was also preceded in death by two children, Betty L. King and Larry D. King.
She will be missed and remembered by five grandchildren, Jeff Nowlin, Karla Bower (Kirk), Tara Nowlin, Traci LaFon (Justin) and Jennifer Chumney (Robert); 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
