June Ann Wright Wills

June Ann Wright Wills, 73, of Trent Hatchery Road, Appomattox, died Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Heritage Hall of Brookneal. She was the loving wife of the late W. Roger Wills.
Born in Appomattox, on June 28, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Susie Goin and Walter Wright. June worked 39 years for Thomasville Furniture and then was employed with the Appomattox County School System as a custodian until her retirement.
She is survived by one brother, Ashby Wright and wife, Lois of Appomattox; one sister, Addie Mae Wright Hager of Bluefield, WV; nieces and nephews, R.D. Hudson and wife, Cathy, Rita Hudson, Melinda H. Testerman and husband, Gregory, Brenda W. Johnson, Hope W. Purvis and husband, Donnie, Karen H. Worstell and husband, Randolph, Christie W. Tucker and husband, John; great-nieces and nephews, Scottie Allen and wife, Jane, Staci Hudson, Sandy Hudson and husband, D.J. Suter, James Hudson and wife, Lindsey, Cassidy P. Baier and husband, Sage, and Shane Purvis.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Dickie Wright; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Jerry Hudson and Frances and Art Schroeder; nephew, Butch Hudson; niece, Annette Carter; and great-nephew, Daniel Hudson.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Brooks officiating. A burial will be held at a later date in the Wright Family Cemetery.
