Nancy "Ann" Woods

Nancy “Ann” Woods, 78, of Appomattox, went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2022. She was the wife of Dewey Albert Woods Sr.
Born on October 20, 1943, in Spout Spring, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Mott Powell Sr. and Frances Mayberry. She was a retired seamstress at Courtland Manufacturing and a member of Appomattox Baptist Temple.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Dewey A. Woods Jr. and wife, Sherry of Appomattox; her daughter, Tracy Woods Campbell and husband, Timothy of Amherst; three granddaughters, Heather Tomlin and husband, Steven, Haley Campbell, and Hannah Campbell all of Amherst; two great-grandchildren, Adalyn Tomlin, and Tanner Tomlin; her brother, Wesley Mott Powell Jr. and wife, Linda of Lynchburg; and her sister, Mae Powell Guill of Lynchburg.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Wesley Powell, and Richard “Dickie” Hunter Powell.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
