Steven "Kirk" McDaniel

Steven “Kirk” McDaniel, 56, of Ridgeway, Virginia went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at his home. He was born October 21, 1965, in Crane, Texas to Arvile Gene McDaniel and Edna Wendelene Jordan McDaniel. As a small child “Kirk” moved to Colbert, Oklahoma. He graduated from Colbert High School and SE Oklahoma State. He worked at Georgia Pacific in Ridgeway as a Logistics Manager. He loved cooking, singing karaoke, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a jokester and never met a stranger. He lived life to the fullest and put a smile on everyone’s face he met.

“Kirk” was preceded in death by his grandson, Liam Fink.

He is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Kimberly Stacey McDaniel; sons, Hunter Miles McDaniel (Sarah), Hudson James McDaniel (Stephanie) Sutton Chase McDaniel; step-sons, Trey Fink and Austin Fink; brothers Mark Ellis McDaniel, Edward Scott McDaniel and Wendell Gene McDaniel; grandchildren, August Kirk, Pippa, Braedyn, Sebastin, Wyatt, Isabella, Jaxon and Atticus; special friend, Danny Stanfield; beloved dog, Bailey and many nieces, nephews and friends.

All services will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, hug your loved ones tight.
